The Local Government Management Association circulates postings for career positions available with member municipalities in British Columbia. Copies of current postings are displayed on the main floor notice board at the Town Office, or they may be viewed at the CivicInfo BC web site.
With a permanent staff of only 30 people, career openings with the Town of Oliver are not always available. However, seasonal positions are more common, particularly in the Parks and Recreation Department. This department also provides various opportunities for volunteer work.

In consultation with Interior Health, the Town of Oliver is terminating the boil water notice that was issued on April 5, 2013, effective immediately.
