The Town of Oliver will commence its 2012 sewer line flushing program within the municipality starting the week of June 11th, 2012. Periodic flushing is undertaken to prevent the buildup of sediment which may result in blockages. This work will take approximately three weeks to complete.
Sewer line flushing may result in some splashing from the toilet if the sewer system in your building is not adequately vented. To avoid any inconvenience, it is suggested that you place your toilet lid in the down position, with a garbage bag or piece of plastic placed beneath it.
