In November, the Town broke ground on the Housing for Healthcare Workers site, a vital initiative designed to provide much-needed accommodations for visiting medical professionals at the South Okanagan General Hospital.
This project represents a major step toward strengthening access to quality healthcare in our region. By offering additional housing options, we aim to reduce staffing shortages and support those who dedicate their time and expertise to caring for our community. Each unit will feature two bedrooms, with completion expected in March 2026.
