Payment Information

The following methods are available for making payments on accounts:

BY MAIL  

Mail your payment to the Town office at Box 638, Oliver BC  V0H 1T0.

INTERNET/TELEPHONE BANKING

If you are not already a PC banking customer, contact your financial institution to set up your account.  You will need to add the Town of Oliver as a “payee” as follows:

• Search for OLIVER (ensure it is Oliver, BC), then choose from the drop down for utilities or property taxes.
• For utilities enter the 13 digit account number (without spaces) shown on the top left hand corner of your utility bill located under the Town of Oliver phone and fax numbers.  
• For taxes, enter the 11 digit account number (without spaces) shown on top right corner of your property tax notice.  

In previous years when paying property taxes, you were only required to input 8 digits.  We are now moving to an 11 digit format and in future years the account number will require all 11 digits to accept payment.  As we are in the process of implementing the additional digits, some banking institutions have not updated from the from 8 to 11 digits.  If your banking institution does not accept all 11 digits at this time, please input the last 8 digits of your account omitting the "555" jurisdiction code.   

IN PERSON

The Town office is located at 6150 Main Street.  Cash, cheques and debit cards are accepted.  The Town does not accept credit cards as many of the funds we collect are for other agencies and we do not believe it is in the public's interest for the Town to incur credit card service charges on these payments.

WE DO NOT CONSIDER A TELLER STAMP PROOF OF PAYMENT.
