Water Meters
The Town of Oliver, with funding assistance from the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia, has commenced its universal water meter installation program for all of its water service customers.
Many customers already have meters installed, either as a result of recent construction or as part of the Phase 1 & 2 domestic water twinning project that was undertaken from 2007-2012 in rural water systems. An overview of meter installation scheduling is provided below (If you are in the rural area, your system number is indicated on your last year’s water bill.):
If you have a domestic water meter, you are now on a new quarterly billing system showing you your base rate and water consumption. The Town only has a remaining 46 customers in system 1 who are not twinned and metered. We will continue to look for funding to complete the next phase in the near future.

In consultation with Interior Health, the Town of Oliver is terminating the boil water notice that was issued on April 5, 2013, effective immediately.
