Town Hires Wayne Anderson as Chief Financial Officer
The Town of Oliver is pleased to announce the hiring of Wayne Anderson as its Chief Financial Officer effective May 19, 2022. Anderson will be responsible for leading all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization in conjunction with Oliver Council.
“Mr. Anderson brings 24 years experience working directly for a municipality or consulting with local government clients, most recently as Director of Finance and IT with the City of Merritt. As the former Director of Sales and General Manager of Vadim Software, this compliments the necessary experience and knowledge of the accounting software utilized by the Town of Oliver,” said Chief Administrative Officer, Ed Chow.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed the challenge of working with smaller municipalities with limited funds to deliver the same services and legislated reporting as much larger cities. I look forward to working with the talented leadership team to deliver Council’s Strategic Priorities and the dedicated finance team that excels in service delivery to both our internal and external customers”, said Wayne Anderson.
