To replace the raised crosswalk on Park Drive at Tuc-el-Nuit Elementary School capital works are scheduled to begin on July 20, 2020. The changes are to improve the ramps to the appropriate specifications of the raised crosswalk.
Grizzly Excavating will be notifying area residents that Park Drive is scheduled to be closed for almost two weeks with detours in effect.
Please note Park Drive between Eastside Drive and Tuc-el-Nuit Drive will be open to local residence traffic only.
Schedule:
– Monday, July 20 – demolition on raised crosswalk ramp
– Thursday (or Friday), July 23 or 24 – concrete pour for new crosswalk ramp
– To allow the concrete to cure Park Drive will be closed until at least July 31.
The Town reminds motorists to be mindful of crews working on roadways and to obey all traffic signage.
