Boil Water Advisory
Due to a mechanical failure at Rockcliffe Well, non-chlorinated water has entered into the Town of Oliver’s water distribution system.
Out of an abundance of caution the Town of Oliver is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for all Water Systems (pictured below in Red).
The Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
Instructions
Please take the following precautions:
• Boil water used for drinking purposes, for at least 1 minute at a rolling boil, prior to use;
• Boil water for activities where it may be ingested;
• Do not drink from any public drinking fountains in the affected area;
• People may use the water for washing and bathing;
• Ensure that younger children and infants are sponge bathed.
