The Local Government Management Association circulates postings for career positions available with member municipalities in British Columbia (www.civicinfo.bc.ca). With a permanent staff of only 30 people, career openings with the Town of Oliver are not always available. However, seasonal positions are more common, particularly with Oliver Parks and Recreation http://www.oliverrecreation.ca/employment-opportunities/. This independent body also provides various opportunities for volunteer work.
