The Town of Oliver is looking for up to six members of the community who want to make a positive impact to join the Oliver Accessibility and Age Friendly Committee that will help make Oliver more accessible and age friendly.

The Committee will assist the Town in drafting a municipal accessibility plan, and help create a tool to receive public feedback on accessibility. It will also support implementation of the Oliver Age Friendly Action Plan. The Committee will meet 4-6 times per year.

Those interested in applying are encouraged to visit the Town's website to review information, or to drop by Municipal Hall. Individuals with direct experience or who work for organizations related to accessibility, disabilities, seniors, older adults, and healthy communities are encouraged to apply.
