Take Action on Radon is working with over 40 communities across Canada to increase radon awareness amongst residents. For the "100 Radon Test Kit Challenge", 100 Free Radon Test Kits are distributed to residents in participating communities to test their homes!
Oliver is currently participating in the program, giving residents the opportunity to determine the radon levels in their home.
The intake period is now closed.
More Information About Radon
Radon is a radioactive gas that occurs naturally when the uranium in soil and rock breaks down. It is invisible, odourless and tasteless. When radon is released from the ground into the outdoor air, it is diluted and is not a concern. However, in enclosed spaces like homes, it can accumulate to high levels. High radon levels can be a risk to the health of you and your family.
