For Immediate Release August 26th, 2022 Town of Oliver and Rural Water System Customers Stage 0/Normal Watering Takes Effect Immediately Effective Thursday, August 26th Stage 1 water restrictions are rescinded and Stage 0/Normal watering takes effect immediately. Due to groundwater supply meeting normal levels and a favourable long-term weather forecast, conditions are suitable to rescind Stage 1 water restrictions. Stage 0/Normal watering remains in place year-round, except when Stages 1, 2, 3, or 4 are in effect. Town of Oliver Water and Rural Domestic Water System customers are currently in Stage 0/Normal watering. However, the Town of Oliver acknowledges the need to maintain conservation measures and efficient watering practices year round to safeguard our community from aridification trends. Properties that have water flowing through a water meter or are using domestic groundwater for irrigating must follow these conservation measures. House numbering is used as a guideline. Properties using canal water from a separate irrigation service for farming practices will not be affected by these conservation mesures. Watering may take place for up to 2 hours on each permitted irrigation day - Odd numbered addresses on odd numbered dates

Automatically or manually controlled irrigation may only operate between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. or between 12:01 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Watering for Micro-Irrigation and Drip-Irrigation Systems: - Odd numbered addresses on any day of the week
- Even numbered addresses on any day of the week
- Micro-Irrigation and Drip-Irrigation Systems may only operate between the hours 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. or between 12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Food producing plants may be watered as needed. Hand watering is permitted outside of the prescribed watering days.
