Stage 0/Normal Watering Takes Effect Immediately

Effective Thursday, August 26th Stage 1 water restrictions are rescinded and Stage 0/Normal watering takes effect immediately. Due to groundwater supply meeting normal levels and a favourable long-term weather forecast, conditions are suitable to rescind Stage 1 water restrictions. Stage 0/Normal watering remains in place year-round, except when Stages 1, 2, 3, or 4 are in effect.

Town of Oliver Water and Rural Domestic Water System customers are currently in Stage 0/Normal watering. However, the Town of Oliver acknowledges the need to maintain conservation measures and efficient watering practices year round to safeguard our community from aridification trends. Properties that have water flowing through a water meter or are using domestic groundwater for irrigating must follow these conservation measures. House numbering is used as a guideline.

Properties using canal water from a separate irrigation service for farming practices will not be affected by these conservation mesures.
