The Town of Oliver recognizes the economic benefits that the film industry provides and is seeking community input following the draft Policy's presentation at the June 8, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting, where Council direction was provided prior to public consultation.
The draft Policy outlines how film productions can obtain access to operate within the Town while balancing the Town’s operational needs and maintaining residents access to programs and services.
The survey is now closed, and the results will be brought forward to Council along with the Policy for consideration.
