Town hires Joe McCulloch as Chief Administrative Officer
The Town of Oliver is pleased to announce that Joe McCulloch has been selected as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Following a comprehensive recruitment process, Council selected Mr. McCulloch to lead the organization and support the continued delivery of municipal services to the community. As CAO, he will be responsible for overseeing the Town’s day-to-day operations, implementing Council’s strategic priorities, and ensuring effective, efficient, and accountable municipal administration.
Mayor Martin Johansen welcomed the selection, noting that Council is confident Mr. McCulloch’s experience and leadership will be a strong asset to the organization and the broader community. “Council is pleased to welcome Joe to the Town of Oliver,” said Mayor Johansen. “We look forward to working together as we continue to advance Council’s priorities and serve our residents.” Mr. McCulloch brings extensive experience in municipal leadership and public administration. In Canada, he most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for the District of Lillooet and as Operations Manager for the District of Sicamous. He also brings many years of local government experience in Scotland.

Mr. McCulloch will begin his role as Chief Administrative Officer on July 20, 2026.
